About WASHNet KP

The WASH sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is fragmented with multiple agencies engaged in delivery of WASH services and infrastructure leading to duplication and inefficiencies.

A formal platform is needed where issues of common concern are discussed and actioned to improve services, promote lateral (south to south) learning, harmonization of approaches, avoid duplication, improve transparency, and strengthen sector-wide accountability.

To address these challenges, WASHNet was established with support from UNICEF as a formal, inclusive, and government-led coordination forum for the WASH sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Our Mission

To strengthen WASH sector coordination through improved information sharing, joint planning, and transparent monitoring among government, development partners, and implementing agencies.

Collaborative Platform

Facilitating partnerships between the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, UN agencies, international donors, NGOs, academia, and private sector stakeholders.

Evidence-Based

Providing access to reliable data, research, and best practices to inform policy decisions and program implementation across the WASH sector.
